Lincoln Lewis, who stars in Tomorrow: When The War Began was interviewed online by TheFix personality Kylie Speer and also spent time answering as many questions as he could from users of Windows Live Messenger.
226 people added Lincoln to their Messenger client in the opening 15 minutes of the chat. Of that number, 204 went on to ask him a question about the film.
aamyy: Hi Lincoln! Could you please tell me if there will be a Sydney premiere for TWTWB, and when?! It would be sooooooooo good to go
I’m pretty darn excited for the release.
Lincoln: Hey aamyy… umm I’m not too sure I think there might be a Syd premiere… if there is I’m sure it will be put up on the net and stuff… You better be there!! Haha.
alice: How’s the movie going?
Lincoln: It was good , shooting has all wrapped and I’m just hanging out to see it!
Jessss: So my question is how much different is it working for a television series to a film?
Lincoln: It’s in a lot of ways the same but also in a lot of ways different. Like the speed everything gets shot and the size of the crew and magnitude of what’s being shot, like the explosions and the guns and all that which I never got to do on Home & Away.
??l??t?: Is this like really you ? When does your movie come out?
Lincoln: Sure is
It comes out September 2nd so keep an eye out.
Lil Chickii: What’s your movie about?
Lincoln: Watch the trailer and you’ll find out.
Amanda: hey Lincoln I’m a big fan. I watch Home & Away every day. I just want to know how long you have been wanting to be on Tomorrow: When the War Began?
Lincoln: To be honest ever since I read the books in year 9 I’ve wanted to do this project whether it be a TV series or a movie. So went nuts when I heard they were casting for this movie!
Selbbub: What is the best thing about working on a movie?
Lincoln: I guess working on a movie is the freedom to do stuff I couldn’t do for television… like all the stunts and explosions and gun fights etc. All that was hectic.
Em: Do you think the book or the movie of Tomorrow: When the War Began is better?
Lincoln: I loved the movie but as with any movie made from a book they can’t exactly put everything in. But it stays true to the book so I’m happy being a fan of the book and all.
sarahaimeee: Hey Lincoln, what was it like working with Phoebe Tonkin?
Lincoln: Phoebe is mad , I actually was always an extra on H20: Just Add Water so I always saw her but it was good!
not so excited: Is this your first movie you made and was it fun? Did you think any of the girls were pretty? I did.
Lincoln: Hahaha are you kidding… I thought they were all hot and top actresses. But yeah it was so much fun filming it… can’t wait to see it.
