You’ve only read them three times? I’ve read them so much that I can recite the books. I can watch the movie and pick out every single line in it that has been taken from the book. According to most people, I’m a spaz when it comes to these books. :D

  17. corrie says:

Grrrr! I wish they would hurry up and START the next movie
BTW one year and one day since the TWTWB came out “tear”

  18. Kat says:

Australia of course….. Started reading 15 years ago and have read the entire series so many times I can’t count. I have just started reading the series again so that I can read the Ellie chronicles for a second time. Met John Marsden a couple of weeks back when he came to NZ to help support Christchurch kids to write about their experiences. He is SUCH a nice guy and hope he and his wife enjoyed the wine. Honestly can’t wait to see “the dead of night” on film, I loved the first movie, only sad about the lack of mention of the hermit!! But thats okay, as Ellie and Corrie say in the movie, the books are always better!!!! Bring on the second movie though!

  19. Mellie says:

i wasnt even aware that the UK was into TWTWB! its so exciting seeing your childhood book on the big screen and going global.
When i was back in primary school myself and my friends would discuss the cast if the movie were to be made and just get plain excited about actually seeing the explosions!
keep on telling everyone to see it, BUY it (not download) and hopefully we can get all 7 at least made! (if anyone is unaware there was talk of only making the first 4 movies and only if they were popular making the rest into tv series… :( !)

  20. Nathan says:

bit retarded having an aussie film prescreening in pom land… seriously what else will this country sell out… big fan of the movie but keep it in our country not the loser uk
