I sent in my email… still hoping for a response. Have the 20 people already been chosen? I live within a 1 and a half hour drive of Toronto and I would love the chance to go see this movie.

  2. Krystyna says:

Hey, I sent an e-mail too about an hour after this post. Just wondering though, I’m looking through the TIFF website and I can’t find TWTWB to buy tickets just in case I’m not one of the twenty. If anyone finds it can you post here??

  3. Dan Grant says:

Hi, I’d like to get tickets to this please.

  4. Melissa says:

Krystyna, I also sent in my email about an hour after this post went up. And I didn’t find TWTWB on the TIFF website either, so I’ve tweeted them (http://twitter.com/TIFF_NET) asking about it. I’ll let you know if I get a response.

  5. Krystyna says:

Thanks Melissa! I’m beginning to think the screening is only for buyers and not necessarily open to the public, hence the “special screening”. Maybe we’ll get an update soon!

    • Melissa says:

Yeah, that’s all I managed to find out was that TWTWB got a “buyers only screening”. Only, I don’t know what that means. What does that mean? Who are “buyers”?

      • Krystyna says:

It means that only industry people are invited. Specifically studios who will do PR and contracts to get the movie released in North America. All of which is good news for the possible future release of the movie here. Unfortunately, even if it is taken up buy a North American firm, it will be at least 6 months until its released, probably longer.

  6. Leanne Kosciejew says:

I’ll go. I live in Toronto.

  7. Hayley Kane says:

Has this already finished? Or still running? Just found this!

  8. Maarten says:

Just give it a try, don’t wait to long. I’m sure an announcement would appear when all passes have been taken. :)

  9. Katya says:

How do we get our tickets if we do win? Do we just get them at the show?

    • Nick says:

If you received an email in reply, your names have been added to the guest list for the night. You won’t have physical “tickets”, but upon stating your names at the event, you will be allowed entry :)
