I can’t get the trailer to play. Is anyone else having the same problems? Frustrating because I’m dying to see it.

Could somebody post a link directly to the trailer?

  12. Nick says:

Ok, now that I have stopped jumping around madly I can say that it is a fantastic teaser. A TWTWB film has been a long time coming, and I think they nailed it. :D

  13. Sarah says:

    HOOORAH!!!!!!!!

  14. SArah says:

Such an awesome trailer! And i watched it at 8am so it works early!! So so cool. Very excited now! Bring on September!

  15. Kaytoo says:

OK can somebody help me? I go to thefix.ninemsn.com.au, click on “First Trailer Tomorrow When the War Began”, I see News and Events and a pic and blurb about it, but there is no link to a trailer.

So I click on “Video and Trailers” on the orange bar, I see TWTWB on the top of a bar on the right, and I click “Play”. The little icon changes to “Now Playing” but I can’t see anything playing anywhere….

    What am I doing wrong?

  16. Kaytoo says:

I think I’m going crazy – i’m dying to see this but still can’t.

    This page;
    http://www.yourmovies.com.au/news/?i=183172&action=news

Has two links to the trailer – but clicking on each one takes me back to the news item page, and again, no trailer to watch :o (

I am dying to see it! Not sure that I can survive much longer!

Talk about Murphey’s law…… funny that I can view every other trailer than I’m not interested in….

    somebody help? *sniff SNIFF*

    • Nick says:

The video player will take a little while to load, particularly on a slower connection. It should appear just after the main body of text.

      • Kaytoo says:

        Hey there Nick

I work in a massive gov department – with extrememly fast internet, so that’s not the prob – one of the tech guys here say it’s a javascript permission issue.

I checkout out the source code and the script for the player is certainly there, it’s just not being deployed.

No worries though – i’ll wait until i get home

  17. Peter says:

oh my god!!!That was amazing!!!! It looks sooooooo good!!! Anyone able to see the official website (www.TWTWB.com)??? I can’t wait for more info and being able to see the movie-almost only 5 months to go!!!!!

  18. Stacey says:

OMG That is so exciting. Hurry up Sept & the rest of the movies (greedy) :)

  19. Kaytoo says:

Looks like I lucked out. I can’t view any videos off this site. I think it’s a javascript issue in my workplace. Chances are it will work fine at home but that won’t be until 7pm tonight *Sigh*

Funny – I can view youtube videos here, but not this.

    • Nick says:

Youtube and Ninemsn videos work a little differently. Youtube videos are a ‘progressive download’, which means you actually download download the video to watch it, where as Ninemsn videos are ‘streaming’, which means the video is ‘streamed’ and you don’t actually download the video, you watch it live.

Some people may have problems viewing the videos because of this, possibly because the security on their computer is more tight.

  20. Stacey says:

no, i just tried the website too, without success… :(

  21. Nikki says:

    Awesome!!
Anyone else tried the website address at the end of the trailer?
    http://www.twtwb.com
    Why can’t I get there?

  22. Tessa says:

Can someone post a link that goes straight to the video coz I can’t find it :(

  23. Chae says:

  26. kiwigirl says:

  27. rozi says:

  40. Rebecca says:

oh my flipping donkeys this is soooooooooooooo cool

  41. Sarah says:

its not working for me either, I have no trouble with other streamlined videos…could it be that so many people are watching it the site is bogged down??
Im freaking out cos its only up for 24hrs!!

  42. Greg says:

I dont think it means that the video will only be up for 24 hours, I just think it means that the website has exclusive rights to host the video for 24 hours, after which time any website can pick it up.

    • Sarah says:

Yep it worked this morning thankfully! Ha ha yeah i couldn’t understand why they would only show it for 24hrs, so that makes sense duh

  43. Ben says:

Video is not working well for every one I talk to. Also did anyone catch the web address as the end of the trailer?

  44. Nick says:

That was possibly the most amazing trailer i’ve ever seen… Looking forward to watching that one in the Cinema. Here’s hoping it’s true to the books.
it was http://www.twtwb.com, but it isn’t working… on my computer anyway

  45. G says:

I’m thinking that the website just isn’t operating yet, as it doesn’t exist..

  46. Laércio says:

Someone know what is the song in the trailer? or the name of the band?

Completely Insane! I loved! I hope with all my life that this movie come to America! We need to spend our money on it!
Don’t forget of us here in Usa, Brazil and México! We love this story!

  50. Amy says:

Somebody needs to get this trailer tto YouTube asap I think lol

  51. Berni says:

Red Dawn is being remade, unfortunately, and that has a really similar storyline (kinds in rural America hide in the wilderness and then start to fight back guerrilla style etc), so I’m a bit worried that this will be overlooked in favour of a Hollywood film.

    • Nikki says:

I’m a bit worried too but, I read somewhere that Red Dawn is out 24th Novemeber, and TWTWB is rumored to be out in September so hopefully that’s the case and it gets a decent shot

  52. Aeeman says:

Omg, I really hope there will be a Melbourne Premier, if there is, I am GOING!!!!

  53. Lisa says:

After waiting for this forever. Im so glad it was really good. I cant wait to see the movie!

  54. Sophie says:

oh my gosh it’s sooooo awesome cannot wait!!
Does anyone know if the movie is set in 1993 when the book was first published or later like 2009?

    • Hannah says:

The movie looks to be set around now because of the technology they’re using with their phones. I think they did a really good job with the trailer it looks fantastic. Using the song fader by aussie band The Temper Trap was perfect. Cannot wait.

  55. Kathryn says:

5 months and counting – do I really have to wait that long?

    Bugger !!

  56. Xav says:

Absolutely worth the wait for that teaser! stoked with it all so far.

  57. Rachel says:

I loved the trailer so much!!! The movie is going to be a billion times better!

Does anyone know the name of the song they play in the trailer, and who sings it????

    Thanks fellow twtwb fans!!

  58. Rachel says:

Don’t worry, I just read previus comments.

I probably should have done that earlier

    haha!!

  59. Chloe -miffta- says:

The song in the trailer is called Fader by a band called The Temper Trap and you can buy the single on itunes for $1.69

  60. Reedie's says:

red Dawn is making me feel so bad… I hope that TWTWB do not late it’s premiere.

  61. [...] attendant le teaser de Tomorrow, je me pique un somme. La journée a été [...]

  62. Chocolate Head says:

I can’t wait to see this movie in cinema im so so so excited, the trailers a tease tho, but i recon this movies going to be great i love the books abouts this so im preety sure im going to love the movie

  63. Ashil says:

The last I had head was that the film had been stalled – I remember talking to my husband about how I thought i was never going to be made.

We went and saw Iron Man 2, imagine my surprise and absolute joy when the trailer came on. I don’t think the trailer was particularly good, mind you, but as someone who was in the target demographic when the books came out I squealed (alas, in a crowded cinema) with delight when I saw it.

I was a little concerned that the youth audience wouldn’t be familiar enough with the books to see the appeal in the film, but I mentioned it to my yr 12 students and a handful of them made much the same noise as I had in the cinema.

I hope that when it is released there is a good showing with the fans (perhaps a preview night?) as I’d love to see the films with people who love them. I was fortunate to see a Serenity preview with die-hard fans and it was a fantastic experience.

  64. cait says:
