Tomorrow, When the War Began movie in the works!

Well guys, it has been a long time coming, but it looks as though a series of movies is going to be made based on the Tomorrow series.

As of June 16th Screen Australia has announced support for five feature films generating $38.9 million worth of production.

Projects receiving production investment include Stuart Beattie’s directorial debut Tomorrow When the War Began, based on the best-selling book by author John Marsden. The story follows the journey of Ellie and a group of seven others who band together to fight when Australia is invaded by an unknown enemy. Renowned screenwriter Stuart Beattie, whose credits include Australia and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, will write and direct.

The film will be produced by Andrew Mason for Ambience Entertainment.

    Okay well you have this covered in Australia, is it open to America cuz i’ve fallen in love with the books and it would be awesome to see the movie!!!

    hay
    new here but got to say it;s about time that this amazing series was discovered and make into a movie….cant wait to see it out…..but may i say that racheal playing corrie is so bad, i mean how can you just bring her in then cast her back out, she’s a fantastic actor so i vote that corrie dosen’t die…… but cant fight how i don’t know so i’ll keep dreaming…….

    i dont really like robyn in the movie i think she would hav looked prettier then that so bit disappointed in her .but i kind of dont like homer as much with curly long hair ,lee’s pretty cute
