The next instalment of the “Tomorrow, When the War Began” films might be dead in the water, but producers have not given up on the franchise just yet. Ambience Entertainment, which created the film version of John Marsden’s popular books, has just sent out casting notices for a TV version.

No, no. That all fell apart unfortunately.
An article on SMH recently said, “…planned sequels to Tomorrow When The War Began appear to have been placed on hold indefinitely.”
Darcy-Smith has completed the screenplay of the sequel to Tomorrow, When the War Began, based on the second and third of John Marsden’s novels, for producer Andrew Mason and OmniLab Media, but he won’t direct that film.
